Zombies, Run! Virtual Races are thrilling standalone adventures that motivate you to run a specific distance, using all the immersive audio magic you’ll find elsewhere in the app.

How they work

Virtual Races are released as special community events throughout the year and our runners take part in a time and location that suits them. You can compete for a spot on our leaderboards, or you can use them as a personal exercise goal – a real milestone in your running journey!

Every Virtual Race comes with 5km and 10km distance options, training missions to introduce the story, and unique digital collectibles. The story is always standalone, and doesn’t require prior knowledge of any of our storylines.

Many of our Virtual Races have accompanying merchandise ranges, including stunning medals and running shirts, designed by our official art team. You’ll find them at the Zombies, Run! shop.

You’ll find 18 Zombies, Run! Virtual Races in Zombies, Run!. Often they feature characters from the main ZR storyline in alternate reality roles and surprising settings.

Zombies, Run! VIP subscribers unlock access to all previous Virtual Races, and new ones as they are released. They also get access to ROFFLENET: our official community forum where you’ll find all the hype, buzz, and encouragement you need to tackle a Virtual Race.
